In order to protect Phnom Bakheng site, APSARA authority allows only 300 visitors to climb up Phnom Bakeng each time.
Departure to visit Kbal Spean, the River of Thousand Lingas. There will be a walk of about 45 minutes in the rainforest to reach the site Kbal Spean. Assimilated to the Ganges in India, there are sculptures over 200 meters long at the river Kbal Spean. 1054 lingas and sculptures represent Hindu gods.
Visit to the small but architecturally magnificent temple of Banteay Srei, which is one of the best remaining examples of Khmer classical art, built in the 10th century. Dedicated to Shiva, this striking building supports a number of exquisite sculptures and friezes delicately worked in the pink sandstone.
Then stop at a typical Cambodia village, Preah Dak, where you will discover local people daily’s life, before going to visit Banteay Samre. It consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and accompanied by two libraries. Enjoy the sunset over Phnom Bakheng (depending on the weather condition of the day).
